The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a Sole Source basis to Valley Technologies, Inc., RD#4, Route 309, Tampaqua, PA for eight (8) each Valley VE32c-43V Digital Signal Processing Cards. Delivery will be FOB, Newport, RI, eight weeks after contract award. The Government plans to issue a request for written quote to Valley Technologies, Inc. using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The anticipated award date is 30 May 1997. This act ion is being processed on a Sole Source basis due to the fact that Valley Technologies, Inc. is the designer of the VE32c-43V DSP cards and is the only source that holds proprietary rights to the required card. Any source that believes it has the capability to meet the Government's minimum requirements is invited to submit technical/cost literature for Government evaluation.
