This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F01600-97-R0013 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP), and will be awarded as a contract using the simplified acquisition procedures. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The standard industrial classification is 2711 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This is an unrestricted procurement. The solicitation line item is as follows: A one-year renewal subscription to "World Newsmap of the Week" for the Air Force Junior ROTC program. The periodical is a teaching aid that supports the instruction of geography and current events and is in line with national educational goals. The requirement is for 609 copies that will be mailed to specified high schools nationwide and overseas that participate in the AFROTC program. Quantity: 609 subscriptions. There are no addenda to these provisions.
