King,301/415-6731, fax number, 301-415-8157 The NRC intends to purchase Metrocheks from Washington Metropolitan Transits Authority (WMATA) on a sole source basis to continue the Agency's transit benefit program. The fare media shall consist of non-time-sensitive Metro rail fare cards which may be used to acquire the actual fare media necessary for the employee's means of commuting from any participating public transportation organization. Fare media shall be provided monthly and shall be non-magnetic. WMATA issues "metrocheks" which may be purchased directly from WMATA and subsequently exchanged for fare by participating providers.
