Holton, Purchasing Specialist via FAX (303)369-1207 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR LEASING EQUIPMENT (for approximately six months) THAT WILL ACCOMPLISH THE FOLLOWING: Equipment to place a single or double sealing (adhesive) circular tab(s), approximately one inch diameter on the right edge of letter size mail pieces. EQUIPMENT MUST BE CAPABLE OF: Feeding and singulating mail pieces with a minimum processing speed of 8,000 pieces per hour without operator intervention other than to load faced mail pieces without damage to mail pieces; Processing mixed mail sizes and characteristics without constant equipment adjustment; Processing un-tabbed, double-folded and tri-folded, open on top or bottom, mail pieces formed from glossy coated, and non-coated paper with basis weights from 16lb to 78lb; Bin stacking or shingle stacking mail into an output conveyor; Registering piece counts electronically indicating total mail pieces processed; Allow operator intervention to customize placement of single or multiple tabs; Placing tabs consistently in the same position once settings are made; Placing tabs within 5/8" above the bottom right corner. EQUIPMENT WILL HAVE ALL SAFETY STOPS AND LOCKOUTS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT OPERATOR EXPOSURE TO DANGEROUS PINCH POINTS.
