Contact, Administrative Services, 541/750-7118 The purpose of this
project is to conduct a watershed analysis of the Sand Lake
subwatershed, a 17,000 acre area situated on the northern Oregon coast
between Cape Lookout and Pacific City, on the Hebo Ranger District of
the Siuslaw National Forest (Tillamook County, Oregon). This watershed
analysis will evaluate past and current watershed conditions, and
resource trends and problems, in order to identify potential
restoration projects consistent with the Northwest Forest Plan. The
analysis must be accomplished by a team of resource specialists who are
professionally qualified to assess and interpret the structure,
composition and function of the terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems
within a given watershed. The Contractor shall furnish all labor,
supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as
Government furnished) and incidentals to analyze and portray the
aquatic, riparian, and terrestrial features within the watershed by
using technically rigorous procedures outlined in the Federal Guide.
Contract time is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to
Proceed. Estimated start work is August 18, 1997. This solicitation is
