Concerns having the ability for providing a community residential corrections facility(s) for Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Sioux City, Iowa area. Estimated number of mandays are 7,200 for the base period, 3,600 mandays for the first, second, and third option years, respectively (males 80%, females 20%). Estimated RFP issue date is June 16, 1997, estimated RFP closing date is August 15, 1997. Contract base period is two years with three one-year options to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
