A firm fixed price, fixed quantity contract is contemplated, which covers the items and quantities shown below: NSN 2840-00-106-7711, Zone 5 Manifold, P/N 712685, 35 ea; NSN 2840-00-138-9400, P/N 579463, Zone 3 Manifold, 35 ea; NSN 4730-01-006-9389, P/N 751552, Zone 1 Manifold, 24 ea; NSN 2840-00- 333-6375, P/N 732524, Zone 4 Manifold, qty 24 ea; NSN 2915-00-864-8527, P/N 579462, Zone 2 Manifold, qty 24 ea. These Fuel Spray Manifolds are approximately 30" OD by 20" High and are made of Nickel Alloy. They provide fuel for afterburner operation. The repair consists of inspection, removal and replacement of baffles, attaching lugs and and alignment pins, puddle welding, pyroletic cleaning and flow testing, all in accordance with the Work Specification and the Tech Orders listed in the solicitation. The baffles and pins will be furnished as GFM. Deliveries are to Tinker AFB Oklahoma -- Solicitation will be issued to the two approved and qualified sources; Pyromet/Praxair Corp, Tulsa OK and to Wood Fuel Systems Group in Windsor locks CT (formerly Turbine Engine Services), on or about 23 May 97.
