Box 25287, Denver, CO 80225 is seeking a qualified contractor to perform road repair work at the Housing Area of the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The following provides general description of the work associated with the road repairs required under the contract. The work under this contract consists of removal and replacement of the 3" bituminous concrete road base in the South Rim Housing Area. The project includes removal and disposal of existing bituminous concrete and subgrade material, raise existing manholes and valve boxes, removal of bituminous concrete driveway apron/tie-ins, and construction of new aggregate subbase and bituminous concrete road base.
