Estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time is 90 days. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials (except government furnished), equipment, and perform all operations necessary to remove the existing insulation and heat traces on three water tanks each measuring 8 feet in diameter and 30 feet long. The heat traces on the air vacuum valves shall be replaced with overnment furnished heat traces. The contractor shall supply 3 sets of connector kits, 6 heat trace over temp shut-off thermostats, and 3 ambient air thermostats. The heat traces around the tanks shall be eliminated. The tanks shall be sand blasted to near-white then primed with zinc rich coating. The tanks shall then be covered with two inches of sprayed-on polyurethane foam insulation. The foam insulation shall then be covered with a durable, water-resistant ultraviolet protection layer. Issue date on or about May 30, 1997.
