materials, equipment and supervision necessary to provide for the
partial renovation of an existing Court Building, including the
construction of a new courtroom and associated court spaces, and
building fire protection. Services for the courtroom and associated
court spaces include asbestos removal from the second floor areas
affected by the renovation, demolition of selected existing mechanical
equipment and the majority of the space on the second floor;
construction of a new courtroom with custom wood furniture and
millwork, construction of a new jury suite, judge's chambers suite,
court lobby, public corridors, conference rooms, offices, and storage
space all located on the second floor, installation of new ductwork,
power and plumbing in the second floor area of renovations; and
construction of a new court security officer station in the first floor
elevator lobby. Services for the building fire protection consist of
the fire rating of an existing three story stair enclosure andthe
installation of a new building-wide fire alarm and smoke detection
system. The estimated cost of this project is between $500,000.00 and
$1,000,000.00. This procurement is unrestricted and open to all
