Hughes 816-426-7267, etx 429; Fax 816-426-7530 The U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, intends to issue a contract for the purchase and repair of a Radome located at the National Weather Service, Inola, Oklahoma. This requirements consists of the purchase of ESSCO p/n S38-90 (cage code 15175) including installation materials, and the replacement of existing radome panels located on tower at Inola, Ok. The requirement calls for on-site delivery and replacement of damaged components in place. The equipment and service is being purchased for the support of the National Weather Service, Tulsa, OK. The components in question are source controlled and are proprietary to Electronic Space Systems, Inc. Of Concord, Massachusetts. The Government does not have rights in data, drawings, or specifications. It is believed that the only known source for the purchase of this item and the qualified installation is ESSCO. The Government intends to contract with ESSCO for the equipment and services required. The proposed procurement action is for supplies or services forwhich the Government intends to solicit to only one source under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). This is not a call for proposals. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 days of it's publication. Interested firms shall submit in writing, it's name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified equipment, and the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other Government agencies to which it has previously provided the equipment and service specified above.
