The Texcel Information Manager is a SGML-Smart document management system which provides element level management of documents and doument components, an object relational database and a check-in/check-out configuration maagement scheme. It must also provide both client and server interfaces for Windows, NT, SunOS and HP-UX (i.e. both client and server should rune on multiple platforms). It shall also support multi-platform developement, a stardard application program interface (API), and handles arbitrary DTDs. This system supports Arbor Text Adept. The system is also compatable with existing technologies in place at PTO installations (e.g. interface with exisitng SGML developed application for existing SGML database).
