70 -- MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT TO ADD CONNECT:DIRECT SOFTWARE TO EXISTING CONTRACT POC Thomas Draughn, Contract Administrator, (202) 874-6746 The Financial Management Service (FMS) and its customers (Federal Program Agencies) have a requirement to add specific data interchange software and any software updates to its current contract T-fms-95-28 with Sterling Software, Inc. The CONNECT:Direct data interchange proprietary software product is currently one of the standard software packages used by FMS and some major Federal Program Agencies (FPAs) TO support bulk data file transfers. The contract to be modified is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract in its second option year with two option years remaining through FY99. The FMS and FPA sites that request software under this contract are located throughout the United States. Interested parties which believes itself capable of providing the required proprietary software must respond within fifteen (15) calendar days after the appearance of this synopsis submitting technical information and pricing data, sent to the address and POC above. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. No solicitation document exist and request for such documents will be considered non-responsive and not valid for further consideration. If no affirmative written responses are received within the time indicated, the aforementioned contract will be modified without further notice. (0136)
