Contracts will be negotiated for standard commercial services under the multipleaward schedule (Mas) program and will be entered into with more than one firm offering similar type items. The contracts awarded will be indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity, fixed price will economic price adjustment, with $100 guaranteed minimum. Contract period is for 5 years, 11/1/97 through 10/31/2002, with an option to extend the term of the contract for an additional 5 years. The option will be evaluated at time of award and made part of all basic contracts awarded pursuant to the solicitation. There will also be annual open seasons for consideration of additional offers. Delivery is FOB destination 48 contiguous states and the distract of Columbia and this procurement will be industrial funded.
