A -- U.S. ARMY MISSILE COMMAND, RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, & ENGINEERING CENTER ADVANCED SIMULATION CENTER (ASC) REAL TIME HARDWARE-IN-THE- LOOP SIMULATION SUPPORT DUE 061697 POC (RDPC) Edward L. Information is being sought on the availability of corporate experience in the engineering area of simulation design, development, validation, testing and analysis utilizing ARTS/SIMSTAR Hybrid Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Simulation Systems including Advanced Real-Time Simulation (ARTS) Language Advanced Continuous Simulation Language (ACSL), Parallel Simulation Processors (PSP), SIMSTATION Data Collection Processors, Electronic Signal Allocators (ESA), Logic Signal Allocators (LSA), Digital Parallel Multiprocessor Low Cost Host Computers and Function Generator Processors (FGPs). The proposed contract effort would be performed at the U.S. Army Missile Command Advanced Simulation Center (ASC) Hybrid HWIL Laboratory and Imaging Infrared Simulation System (IIRSS) (1) The proposed contract effort shall include all necessary technical skills and services to provide non-real-time ACSL basic and full implementations, conversion to real-time ARTS/SIMSTAR hybrid implementation and conversion to ARTS/SIMSTAR hybrid real-time HWIL implementation of weapon system dynamic simulation models. This shall include developing, modifying, adapting and/or analyzing math models of all essential and pertinent weapon system subsystem elements, defining the overall weapon system simulation configuration, establishing conventions including coordinate systems, determining parameters for parametric studies, defining requirements for model definitions, model verification data, program preparation formats, implementation and verification of each module, integration and verification of the modules, overall simulation verification and validation and documentation of the implementation, verification, validation and application of the resultant simulation. (2) The contractor must provide verification of successful experience in the areas noted in this document. (3) The ASC Hybrid HWIL Laboratory and IIRSS 1 are operated as secure classified facilities. A tour and/or briefing is possible if prospective respondents will submit a suitable security clearance for each company representative. (4) This information is being sought for future acquisition planning purposes and contractor participation in this "Sources Sought" shall be at no cost or obligation to the Government. Interested sources must submit responses by 3:30 P.M. Central Standard Time, June 16, 1997.
