equipment necessary to perform drydock repairs to the USCGC Greenbrier
(WLR-7550) and Barge including but not limited to the following
minimum items: (1) Modify tender bow structure and tender/barge
interface system, (2) Invert and rotate tender towing knees, (3) Renew
tender spudwell liners and preserve spud and spudwell, (4) Renew barge
spudwell liners and preserve spud and spudwell, (5) Shaft removal,
inspection, and reinstallation, (6) Overhaul Lo-rez shaft couplings,
(7) Install hard mounts for main diesel engines, (8) Intermediate and
spooler shaft removal, inspection, and reinstallation, (9) Port Shaft,
(10) Starboard Shaft, (11) Remove and reinstall propellers, (12)
Rudder assembly removal, inspection and reinstallation, (13) Rudder
removal, inspection and reinstallation, (14) Install new engine driven
stern tube cooling pump, (15) Clean and test grid coolers, (16)
Overhaul, renew, and test valves, (17) Modify ballast piping system,
(18) Clean and inspect ballasttank, (19) Tank @ Fr 15-30, Port & Stbd,
Tank @ Fr 90-112.5, Port & Stbd, (20) Clean and inspect diesel fuel

Vessel homepier is Natchez, MS. Vessel availability schedule is on or
about 08 Sep 1997. Performance period is scheduled for 54 calendar
days. There will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 in the form of
a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard
for requested drawings. Orders must be placed within ten (10) days of
solicitation issuance. The proposed contract listed here is part of the
Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and
specifications will be issued on or after 06 Jun 1997 from our office
location, Commander (vpl-1), Maintenance & Logistics Command, Atlantic,
