There are approximately 1,892 pine sawtimber trees containing an estimated 969,659 board feet International Scale or 763,932 board feet Doyle Scale, and 130 pine pulpwood trees containing an estimated 6.4 cords. The sale also includes an undetermined volume of sweetgum sawtimber and pulpwood. Log scale based on Form Class 80. Cutting to begin no later than 90 days after award with 365 days to complete removal after contract is awarded. Timber harvesting will not be allowed during the 15-day annual gun deer hunting season for Barksdale Air Force Base. Anticipated issue date is 2 June 1997, anticipated opening date 2 July 1997.
