S -- FULL FOOD SERVICE SOL DAHA36-97-B-0008 DUE 063097 POC Contract Specialist Daneen Renee Hutton (717) 861-8980 (Site Code DAHA36) Full Food Service Contract to operate four (4) dining facilities located at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annvile, Pennsylvania. Building numbers and operational days are: Bldg 9-34 (335 days), Bldg 9-37 (105 days), Bldg 19-109 (343 days), and Bldg 10-13 (62 days). The ensuing contract will consist of four (4) line items, one (1) per each location, priced on a daily rate. Base period of the contract is August 1, 1997 thru September 30, 1997, with four (4) fiscal year option periods. Government will furnish the facilities, equipment and subsistence. Contractor is required to furnish all cleaning supplies. The contractor will be required to manage, prepare food, serve, clean kitchen and dining areas, and perform preventive maintenance as required. Meals prepared per day include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are required Sunday through Saturday including some holidays. The contractor shall furnish all personnel to accomplish the work required. The contract manager, alternate contract manager, dining facilitymanagers, headcounters, food preparation and attendants shall read, write, speak, and understand English. Contract manager shall be responsible for overall management and coordination of work. Minimum qualifications shall be 8 years of experience within the past 10 years consisting of 3 years supervisory experience in volume food service facilities. Dining facility manager minimum qualifications shall be 5 years of experience within the last 10 years of volume food service facility serving complete meals, with 1 year served as a manager or assistant manager. Cooks shall follow the Armed Forces Recipe Card System when preparing meals, Cook II minimum qualification shall be 3 years experience within the past 10 years in volume preparation and service of food. Cook I minimum qualification shall be 2 years experience within the past 5 years in volume preparation and service of food. Contractors shall comply with all other conditions as listed in the Scope of Work provided with the solicitation. Only written requests for the solicitation package received within 10 calendar days of the date of solicitation will be accepted. FOR CONSIDERATION, all requests for solicitation MUST include company name, billing address, federal tax identification number, business type (corp, etc.), and business size (large, small, women owned). IFB available 15 calendar days after date of publication in CBD. Bid opening date will be 30 calendar days after issue of solicitation. Contract to be awarded with 4 option years.
