Eglin AFB, FL has a requirement to Construct Building 1201, Eglin AFB FL. Bid opening date of 10 July 1997 is only an estimated date. The performance period is 190 calendar days. In general, the work will consist of minor site grading, sod work, sidewalks, ramp and steps to support a new building. The construction of a new office building, approximately 3500 gross square feet. Building systems included concrete slab on grade, reinforced CMU walls, metal stud partitions, light gauge metal roof trusses, standing-seam metal roofing, and exterior insulation and finish system. The HVAC system is a chilled/hot water system. The water will be supplied from the existing chilled hot water supply piping. The plumbing is standard commercial grade equipment. The electrical work shall consist of underground primary and secondary systems, interior and exterior lighting, with power and communication systems. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid that shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. Solicitation packages are available at a $20.00 charge. All requests must be submitted in writing.
