FY97 FHMA Pkg H-1, Repair Kitchens and Bathrooms, HA-1000, Lots 1, 2,& 3, Fort Shafter, Oahu, Hawaii. This solicitation is unrestricted. The work consists of the renovation of one kitchen and two bathrooms for each type unit within the buildings. Work includes replacing kitchen base and wall cabinets, countertops, stainless steel sinks, garbage disposals, range hoods, bathtubs, water closets, lavatories, towel bars, floor coverings, and light fixtures. Installation of dishwashers along with the related plumbing and electrical, and relocation of existing refrigerators, ranges, washers and dryers. Also included in this project is the upgrade of the building and exterior electrical distribution systems to support the replacement of gas ranges to electric. The estimated cost of the proposed project is between $1 million and $5 million. Solicitation to be issued O/A June 2, 1997. Documents will be available at $ 81.00 per set of specifications and full-size drawings. Single copies of specifications alone may be purchased by interested applicants for $25.00.
