The building is located at the 162nd Fighter Wing, Arizona Air National Guard, located adjacent to the Tucson IAP, Tucson IAP, Tucson, AZ. The building is partially occupied by one fighter squadron. The scope of work includes the architectual, electrical, and mechanical renovation and remodel of vacant space in Phase I, (approximately 14,400 sq ft). Demolition of space currently occupied and remodeled of the same in Phase II. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $ 500,000 and $ 1,000,000. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on 18 June 1997 with a site visit/prebid conference scheduled for 1 July 1997. Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled for 17 July 97. Interested parties are required to submit thei request in writing to the attention of the POC, fax (602) 267-2560. No phone requests accepted. There will be a non-refundable fee (amount to be determined) payable with cashier check or money order. Cash, personal or company checks will not be accepted. Plans and specification are available for review at no charge at the office of the Contracting Officer (Phoenix) and at the Base Civil Engineers Office (Tucson) after the issuance date of the solicitation. It has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms serviced by the Phoenix SBA District Office which have SIC Code 1542 among their approved SIC Codes. See numbered Note 4. (0136)
