The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with K-TRON North America for a twin screw compact loss-in-weight feeder with horizontal agitator and vertical discharge with flexible discharge boot (K-TRON Model KCL24KT20), including a K-TRON K-10S Chassis Controller with Loss-in-Weight Software mounted in NEMA 12 Wall Mount Enclosure, UL Certified. Minimum specifications are as follows: Material: Hydrated Lime; (2) Feedrate: 3 Grams/Minute; (3) Material Bulk Density: 40 lb/ft3 (estimated); (4) Feeder Hopper: 0.4 ft3 Cyclinder; (5) Electrical Requirement: 115 VAC, Single Phase, 60 HZ, UL Certification; (6) Material Temperature: 60-80 Degrees F; (7) Must be interchangeable with existing identical K-TRON feeder.
