COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MAY 21,1997 PSA#1850Fleet And Industrial Supply Center Seal Beach Detachment, Naval Weapons
Station, Supply Dept., Bldg. 239, Code 210J, 800 Seal Beach Blvd., Seal
Beach, CA 90740 66 -- 10V DC REFERENCE STANDARD SYSTEM SOL N00244-97-R-0031 DUE 062597
POC Gretchen Yeh, Contract Specialist (562) 626-7365; Dorothy Rodgers,
Contracting Officer This is a request for information (RFI) to
determine whether a suitable instrument exists that will meet
requirements. Reference will be used to maintain the laboratory voltage
standard. Individual 10V reference modules can be removed from system
and transported between std labs for inter-comparison and voltage
traceability. Each module will utilize patented conditioning circuits
that reset the zener voltage at power on w/out the use of permanent
battery backup normally associated with maintaining zener oven
temperature during transportation. References that have been off power,
even in envoronmentally adverse transport conditions, are to be
returned to original value within 6-8 hrs of power restoration. The
system will be module based and will have 4 EA 10V DC ref modules. Each
module will have 2 outputs of 10V and 1V or 1.018V (selectable). Each
system will include a switching scanner module and PC compatible
control and analysis software. Scanner module will have ability to scan
up to 16 channels. Each scanned channel will be compared with the avg
value for those ref modules with the average selected. Scanner will
measure and display individual ref deviations from the avg. Ref modules
will have the following specs: 10V 1V/1.018V Time stability:
<1ppm/yr <2ppm/yr Temperature stability: 0.05ppm/?C 0.2ppm/?C
Noise (typical): 0.025ppm RMS 0.05ppm RMS Operating Temp range: 10 --
35?C Storage temp range: -20 -- 45?C Isolation to ground: 10GW/100pF
Isolation to ground: 20GW/3pF Dimensions: 115mm high, 75mm wide, 266mm
deep (fits in 3U high EuroRack) Weight: <1.4Kg w/batteries
Software: PC s/w will be available with the unit that will perform the
following functions: maintain history; monitor ref deviations from the
avg; recommend which units, if any, should be removed from the avg;
recompute avg after ref contribution changes; maintain actual data
value; perform regression and trand analysis; calculate new values from
newly certified values or est values; Microsoft Excel data file format,
Lotus compatible; and monitor records ref cell oven temperature. This
is a request for information. Marketing literature and documentation
should be submitted to the above address. The Government will not pay
for any information submitted in response to this RFI. No solicitation
document exists. (0136) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0316 19970521\66-0013.SOL)
