helen sammon, hsammon@pica.army.mil. The U.S.Army TACOM/ARDEC is
seeking qualified sources to perform install and service of high
performance audio visual equipment in training, conference and
production areas at Picatinny Arsenal, N. J.. The contractor shall
consider each location identified by the government for installation
and/or service of audio visual equipment as a unique entity with unique
requirements. All audio visual equipment defined by the government for
installation shall be provided by the contractor, all audio visual
equipment shall be new and state-of-the-art man ufactured by leading
manufacturers and shall be either Commercial or Broadcast grade. The
contractor shall be required, but not limited to, installation and/or
service the following type of equipment: monophonic audio systems,
stereo audio systems, microphone systems, audio teleconference systems,
video teleconference systems, television broadcast systems, television
surveillance systems, video projection systems, computer graphic
projection systems, lighting systems, lighting system upgrades, audio
recording systems, video recording systems, video reproduction systems,
InfraRed (IR) and Radio Frequency (RF) control systems, and
support/interface systems. In the event that the government requests
service/maintenance to audio visual systems, the contractor shall
respond to such requests within 24 hours of notification. The
contractor shall provide the necessary trades, personnel, supervision,
management, materials, services, equipment, tools, and facilities
necessary to perform all installation and/or service to government
audio visual systems. All personnel selected to provide installation
services and/or services to government! audio visual systems shall be
United States Citizens. The ontractor shall provide all necessary test
equipment for analysis and specialized testing when performing
installation and/or services to government audio visual systems. Firms
responding to this sysopsis should express their interest in this
effort and provide a detailed description of their familiarity and
experience in the above areas and summarize their pertinent
