requirement for support for projects, primarily for providing technical
support and performing technical support studies dealing with the
inventories in databases; new graphics and database capabilities to
Technology Transfer Network (TTN); enhancements to Management and
Accountability Information System (MAPS); technical assistance for the
Control Technology Center (CTC); and environmental education and
outreach for EPA programs and related programs that cut across agency
lines. The technical support and studies will promote the development,
revision, analysis, and review of various EPA programs. The contractor
will be expected to provide reports/studies in a comprehensive and
technically accurate manner, yet concise and understandable. These
reports/studies will generally undergo public scrutiny; therefore, must
be sound and defensible. EPA anticipates the award of a
cost-plus-fixed-fee level of effort type contract for a potential total
of 86,040 labor hoursconsisting of a base requirement of 23,680 labor
hours plus 5,000 optional hours. In addition, the contract will allow
for two (2) 12-month options for 23,680 basic and 5,000 optional hours
each. SIC No. 8748 applies; size standard of $5M in average annual
receipts over the last three years. RFP will be issued approximately
6/9/97 as a total small business set-aside action. Proposals will be
due thirty (30) days after the RFP issuance date. The solicitation and
amendments will be available via the Internet World Wide Web at
http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. Firms are encouraged to access the
solicitation and amendments via Internet. If you will be obtaining a
copy of the solicitation via Internet, it will be your responsibility
to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for
any amendments. Firms who do not have the capability to obtain the
solicitation from Internet, may submit a written request for a diskette
with the solicitation in WordPerfect 6.1 format from the contact point
at the address above; however, only those firms who do NOT have the
capability to obtain the solicitation from the Internet should request
diskettes. Diskettes will not be sent to those firms who have Internet
access. If you request a diskette of the solicitation, you will receive
amendments by mail, unless you notify us otherwise. Telephone and fax
requests will not be honored. Only one copy shall be sent to a
corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from one or more
different geographic locations. A copy of the preliminary source list
will be issued to all prospective offerors along with the solicitation.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered
