US Army TACOM/ARDEC Picatinny Arsenal anticipates soliciting under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 a sole source requirement for maintenance and support of software for the M109A6 Paladin Automatic Fire Control System (AFCS XX!) at the TACOM Life Cycle Software Engineering (LCSE) Center. The contractor shall perform system and software engineering tasks to design, develop, implement, integrate, unit test, system test, and document Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to existing, fielded AFCS XXI Software Product Baselines to achieve interoperability with external and internal system interfaces governed by a Requirements Summary List (RSL). The tasks to be performed will cover and not be limited to, such technical areas as Battlefield Automation Systems (BAS) Software Engineering, evaluation, implementation, modification of software and hardware, development, update and review documentation and special studies related to support of Paladin. The work performed under this contract is designated an ADP II or III position, therefore, personnel performing under this contract are required to have a personnel security investigation. Non- US citizens will not be allowed to perform work on contracts or subcontracts involving access to sensitive data, software, or equipment without prior approval from HQ AMC. A time and materials instrument will be utilized for this award. The minimum dollar amount is $1,550,000.00 with a Maximum award of $5,200,000.00.
