McBride The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to award a firm fixed price contract that would provide drydocking and overhaul services for the Surveyboat Cherneski. Propective contractors must have drydocking capabilities. The measurements of the Surveyboat Cherneski are 45'8" in Length, 15' Beam, 7'3" in Depth, 3' Draft and displacement 15 Long Tons. The work includes, but is not limited to, cradle extension, hull painting, hull anodes, fuel tank fill, sea chest, pilothouse windows, vents, yard arm, handrails, engine repairs, engine relocatiion, engine room wash, generator repairs, isolation transformer protection, galvanic isolator waterjet repairs and console gages. The work is scheduled to commence on or about 28 July 1997 with a completion date of 30 September 1997. The area of consideration includes all facilities located along the eastern coastline.
