AFSPC BRIEFINGS TO INDUSTRY The 97 AFSPC Classified Briefing to Industry in coordination with Space and Missile Systems Center and Phillips laboratory supported by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of ADPA/NSIA will be held Jul 8-10 at the Base Theatre at PAFB, CO. Topics will include a review by AF space policy makers, strategists, and decision makers providing their assessments of future directions in space systems and the specific needs of the future. Additionally, AFSPC and AFMC will discuss space realated and support procurement opportunities for the next five years. These include new strats, support contracts at the four AFSPC wings and AFMC procurements in support of AFSPC systems. During the afternoon of 10 Jul from 1300 to 1630 the Mission Teams Chiefs/XPX POCS will conduct informational presentations/one-on-one discussions with contactors interested in their specific area/deficiency requirements in the five mission areas. This is a new approach from previous years in order to facilitate a more focused dialogue between contractors and AFSPC personnel concerning mission area needs/deficiencies and command capability priorities.
