S -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO EXECUTE A SOLE SOURCE ELECTRIC UTILITY CONTRACT The Government intends to award a contract to the Bureau of Electricity, Department of Public Utilities, City of Alameda, CA for electric service in accordance with the Areawide Utilities Contract No. GS-OOP-93-BSD-0007. Electric service will be provided to the U.S. Coast Guard Housing located in Alameda, CA, known as North and Marina Village Housing. It is to include 582 housing units, the administrative center, and street light loads. The estimated usage per month is 292,000 kwhs. The contract will include an option for operation and maintenance services on the distribution system within the housing complex and maintenance of the street light system. The services are to commence 1 July 1997.
