Randall, Contracting Officer, 208-373-4140; Request for Solicitation, Ethel Hill, 208-373-4128; FAX 208-373-4197 The project consists of constructing a spring development and water collection system; trenching, bedding, and backfill; supply all materials including a solar powered pump with electrical system; furnishing and installing various piping material; a 5,000 gallon and a 15,000 gallon below ground steel water storage tanks; various sized valves and boxes; small stone riprap; cleanup of project area and proper disposal of material. The campground portion consists of sub-base construction and aggregate surfacing of roads, parking areas, spurs, paths, and family units. Construction of units shall include tables, benches, pedestal grills, fire circles, necessary to construct 18 spurs with spurs, tent pads, and family units. Construction of (3) two unit comfort stations with concrete vaults and stone veneer exteriors. Furnishing and placement of steel barrier posts; relocating or disposal of existing barrier rocks; importing and installing additional barrier rocks; construction and placement of bulletin boards, concrete wheel stops, segmented concrete retaining walls; installation of culinary, waterlines including hydrants. Other work will include the furnishing and installation of dumpster pads with aluminum collectors, signs, gravel surfacing access roads, paths, spurs, and family units. Miscellaneous work includes removal and disposal of waste materials off National Forest land, cleanup of construction site and obliteration, scarification and seeding of abandoned roads and spur segments. The est. start date is 7/23/97 with a completion date of 9/30/98. The est. price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
