Each building construction type is one story, masonry walls with brick exterior face, and concrete slab on capillary fill. One building will be pile supported and the other has concrete footings. Slabs in service bays will be designed to carry heavy loads over small areas. Portions of the construction include hardened areas to provide secure control and storage of Category II weapons systems and their components. Hardened areas will consist of concrete floors, filled CMU walls, hardened ceilings, secured penetrations for HVAC access, vault type pedestrian doors with modified frames and components conforming with the requirements of OPNAV 5530.l3 and any other required provisions as prescribed. Functions include fire alarm and sprinklers, compressed air system (non breathable), and mechanical and electrical support rooms. Support features include perimeter fencing, utilities, lighted parking area, paving, site improvements, landscaping and incidental related work. Proposed contract is unrestricted. Estimated cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. A Subcontracting Plan is required if the contract is awarded to a Large Business.
