This Project will consist of repairing the downstream embankment slope
and shaping the upstream embankment slope to remove the stair step
appearance. The slope will be converted from 2 horizontal to 1 vertical
slope to 4 horizontal to 1 vertical slope, will require additional pipe
for the principal spillway, a plunge basin will be installed as part of
the repair. The repair work will consist of approximately 46,961 cubic
yards of compacted earthfill and 20,857 cubic yards of excavation,
installation of 130 feet of R/C concrete pipe, the placement of 17.4
cubic yards of reinforced concrete, the placement of 870 tons of Rock
riprap, and the construction of 2,890 feet of barbed wire fence.
Estimated Price Range is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. IFB will be
available on 4 Jun 1997. The Site showing will be held on 18 July 1997
at 10:00 am local time at the NRCS Field Office in Milford, Texas.
Bids will be accepeted until 2:00 pm local time on 9 July 1997 All
