The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials and supplies to replace existing steel low pressure piping, valves, gages and air receivers Pier 33 only and new copper piping, valves, gages for Pier 8 and 33. This work will also include excavation, backfilling and compacting road by the pier. The applicable SIC code and size standard is 1711 and $7.0 Million for this solicitation. The cost range is $100,000 -- $250,000. Contractors interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project must submit a request with company check in the amount of $12.00 to Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS), Box 40, Building 83, Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT 06349-5040. Each check must be made payable to the U.S. Treasury and annotated with the applicable solicitation number. Two sets of plans and specifications will be sent via first class U.S. mail upon availability to those contractors who have rendered payment. Checks not made payable to U.S. Treasury, or not annotated with the solicitation number will be returned unprocessed. No personal checks will be accepted. No plans and specifications will be issued until proper payment has been received.
