Brown, Contract Specialist, (301) 743-6635 The Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division for MK 11 Mod 0 Blasting Caps in accordance with drawings and specifications. The requirement consists of first article and two option lots. First Article of 150 blasting caps are to be delivered within 180 days after contract award. Option I is for approximately 44,000 units to be delivered within 180 days after approval of first article. Option II is for approximately 25,000 units to be delivered within 180 days after exercise of option. Production lots shall be fabricated from the same processes and design requirements as the first article. Award will be made to the low cost technically acceptable offeror with acceptable past performance. Estimated release date for the solicitation document is 16 June 1997.
