59 -- ELECTROSTATIC DUSTPRINT LIFTER KIT WITH ACCESSORIES SOL rfq70262 DUE 061097 POC garland l. crosby jr., contract specialist, (202) 324-5809 This is a combined synopisis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) #70262, the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-46. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a Small Business -- Small Purchase Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3643 and the Business Size standard is 500 employees. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract for seventy three (73) Electrostatic Dustprint lifter kits, each kit consisting of a lifter, a high voltage variable power pack, a probe unit, a recharging unit, a set of FBI scale markers, a roller, a transparent scale marker, twenty five (25) sheets of lifting film and a sturdy carrying case. Additional supplies to be provided for each of the seventy three (73) kits are to be two (2) packages of lift film (25 sheets per package), three (3) rolls of lift film and two (2) packages of footwear impression storage boxes (25 boxes per package). The Contractor must have a production of these items and the resources to fill the order within 20 days of the award. Dustprint lifter kits and supplies are to be shipped from the contractor to fifty seven (57) designated locations throughout the United States to include Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received shall be considered by the agency. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Offerors will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Oct 1995). The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: quality of merchandise, bid proposal and price in descending order of importance.
