59 -- TEST STAND SOL N0025397R0023 DUE 071597 POC Contact Point, Victor Angkico, 360/396-5671 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Keyport intends to solicite for the refurbishment of seven government owned test stands (INT Test Stand, COM Test Stand, CPU Test Stand, BUS Test Stand, IOM Test Stand, OR-LIMITER Test Stand, PCM Test Stand) to increase structural integrity, redress electrical cabling, and refurbish/replace worn parts; fabricate a new test stand for the Servo Valve Assembly and maintain level 1 documentation; fabricate test equipment (load boxed, test cables, and interconnect boxes); fabricate six module spares; and provide repair services for miscellaneous modules. All items are in support of the Ship Control Processing Unit (SCPU) for the SEAWOLF Submarine. This acquisition will be issued on a sole source basis to The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, 555 Technology Square, Cambridge, MA 02139-3563. The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory is the original manufacturer of the test stands and SCPU. No level 3 drawings are available for the fabrication or refurbishment of thetest stands. Draper Laboratories is the only contractor with the knowledge in the operation of the SCPU for certification of the module spares. Delivery of all hardware is required by 20 Apr 1998. Repair services will be for upto 1 year after award. The solicitation will be issued on or about 27 Jun 97 with a 15 day closing. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted.
