Period of performance is 1 Oct 97-30 Sep 98. Four one-year options will be included in the solicitation. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the options. SIC Code 8734, Size Standard $5M. REQUIRED CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE: Must have at least two (2) years experience in providing murine serological testing results to the laboratory research field. Past performance information will be requested in the solicitation. Must use industry standard quality control procedures to validate test results. TEST METHOD: All tests will be performed by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method, except assays for Kilham Papovavirus and Mouse Polyoma Virus, which may be assayed by the best currently available method. REQUIRED TESTING: There will be six (6) different test profiles. Two profiles for mice, two profiles for rats, as well as single individual tests for viruses or mycoplasma and Herpesvirus simiae.
