issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not
constitute a Request For Proposal. The RFI request specific information
that will be used in planning for establishing a long range reliable
water source at Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA), Hawaii. PTA has three
main water storage tanks, each with a capacity of 667,000 gallons. The
average annual water consumption for PTA is 10,420 Kgals or 28 Kgals
per day. The maximum demand at PTA is 80 Kgals per day. The surface
water comes from springs above PTA. The estimated annual spring yield
is 4,000 Kgals for PTA. This source is seasonal and dependent on
weather conditions. The purpose of this RFI is to identify qualified
sources interested in providing a long range reliable water source at
Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii. Any subsequent solicitation will be
synopsized -- DOC does not intend to award a contract on the basis of
this RFI, or to pay for the information solicited. Responses to the RFI
