No public bid opening will be held. Quotes are due in accordance with the solicitation. This is construction project #97-0017 which consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the replacement of outbuildings' high voltage feeders. Work is to include removal and replacement of the existing medium voltage conductors for one side of the outbuildings loop system. This includes all splices, terminations, testing, etc., that are necessary for the completion of the project. A percentage of this work will be accomplished by the contractor by working on weekends. Weekend work is necessary in order to allow the Government to continue operations throughout the work week. The work shall be performed by an electrical contractor who has several years experience in medium voltage installations. All work is tobe accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 63 days. The contractor shall be required to perform a percentage of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. The approximate cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The work shall be performed at National Imagery And Mapping Agency located at 3200 South Second Street, which is east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in St. Louis, MO. See Notes 1 and 26. This is 100% set aside small business. SIC is 1731 with a size standard of $7 million.
