Provide all labor, material, plant, equipment, supplies, and coordination required for the removal and replacement of the 8-inch ductile iron pipe at the influent to the grit chamber with an 18 in reinforced concrete pipe. Modify the piping, valving and controls to run normal flows through one vortex separator. Provide electrical relays to split flow over both separators when lag pump is started. Increase the size of the orfice of the blow down line on the eutek vortex separators. Check and repair welds in the support frames of the separators. Paint the vortex separators according to the Robins AFB Painting Plan. Extend the containment dike under the separators and modify the existing drain. Repair cracked concrete in the existing containment dike. Extend the ramp for the decant trailers, extend the stairway from the static screens, provide stainless steel covers on the static screens and the decent chute. (0140)
