Moyle 402-294-6228 (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, but a written solicitation will NOT be issued. (ii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. (iv) This solicitation is unrestricted as to business size participation. The Standard Industrial Classification Code and associated small business size standards are 1611 and $17 million, respectively. (v) This solicitation is for ready mix cement, pre-mixed L-6 1/2 mix with 3/4 inch limestone, 3" slump (4000 PSI). (vi) Description and requirements: Cement L-6 1/2, 3" slump is the requirement that is scheduled to begin with the first pour to be approximately 2 Jun 97 with a project completion date to be approximately 1 Aug 97. Deliveries are to be made in 20 minute intervals per pour. Daily pours are to be approximately 85 CU YDS but could be up to 150 CU YDS. Deliveries are to be made during normal working hours Monday -- Friday. ***Note: If work falls behind, some weekend pours may be necessary. Due to changing weather, rain checks may be anticipated. Approximate quantity for this entire project must be available (1348 CU YDS). Cement to be delivered to a controlled area on Offutt AFB, NE, at Nelson Drive to the Control Tower. Contractor will be escorted to the Controlled Area. (vii) Estimated start date of the project is 2 Jun 97. (viii) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this solicitation. (ix) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Offers Commercial, applies to this solicitation, and the evaluation criteria are in adherence to the requirements in paragraph 17(vi) above, price, and delivery terms.
