COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MAY 23,1997 PSA#1852DHHS, PHS, CDC, NIOSH, ALOSH, 1095 Willowdale Rd., Morgantown, WV
26505-2888 66 -- SPECTRUM ANALYZER TO SUPPORT THE ETCB LAB AT THE APPALACHIAN
LABORATORY FOR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH, MORGANTOWN, WV SOL
97-013 DUE 062797 POC Brenda Goodwin, (304) 285-5882/Contracting
Officer, Rex S. Wolfe, Jr., (304) 285-5883 The National Institute for
Occupational Safety and Health, ALOSH, plans to procure a high quality
wide band spectral analyzer with capability at diverse resolution
bandwidths supporting numerous modulation schemes. The ECTB lab
requires equivalent to a Rohde & Schwarz FSEM-30 with options and
accessories for spectrum analysis capabilities in research, design,
debug, and prototype verification. Since anticipated projects include
very low frequency sensors and instrumentation amplifiers, as well as
global positioning system advanced receiver and correction receiver
design and subsequent system integration into possible microwave
telemetry links, very wide ranges in bandwidth and resolution
bandwidths (RBW) are imperative. Moreover, tracking generator
capability with I/A modulation when used in conjunction with internal
FSE-B15 computer function, Tektronix IQSIM-K or equivalent, IEEE-488
ports, listed accessories, and an externally cabled arbitrary waveform
generator capable of utilizing IQSIM-K or equivalent output files to
provide I/Q modulation to the tracking generator, will support all
anticipated spectral analysis needs. Solicitation 97-013 to be issued
on or about June 9, 1997, contains the specification with salient
features that must be met by any offeror to be considered for award.
This procurement is being issued unrestricted. The SIC Code is 3829
with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Only written
requests for the solicitation will be honored. All responsible sources
may submit a response, which shall be considered by the Agency.
