Huachuca, AZ in support of the CECOM Communications Security Logistics Activity (CCSLA) requests industry review and comment on the DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) for Boundary Control Devices (firewalls and guards). Request comments no later than close of business 30 May 1997. The SOW is a PAPERLESS document released via the CECOM Acquisition Center Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) the filename is "SOWF&G". NO HARDCOPY WILL BE MAILED. Comments or questions from industry are to be submitted using e-mail only. The E-mail address is terek@huachuca-emh12.army.mil. A computer with a minimum 8MB RAM and a modem with 1,200 to 28,800 baud is needed to download documents from the EBB. The RFP has been prepared using Microsoft Windows 95 Version 7.0 and Microsoft Excel Windows 95 Version 7.0. These programs are recommended for ease of retrieval and reading purposes. Access to the EBB is provided by dialing the EBBS using any communication program, ANSI VT00 or RIPGRAPHIC. Use telephone numbers (520) 533-0132 thru 0138. Log in as a new user, create your own password and use it each time you log in. To access the CECOM Acquisition Center's EBBS, use the following modem parameters: Data rate = 1200bps to 28800bps (Hayes Optima 28.8 V.FC Modems are used here), Parity = No or None, Data Bit = 8 bits, and Stop Bit = 1 bit.
