FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to competitively acquire Family Service Center Relocation Services for active duty personnel and their families at Naval Training Center (NTC) Great Lakes, IL. These services shall be provided by one full time equivalent working forty hours per week, exclusive of Federal Holidays. The required services to be performed at the Service School Command Relocation Outreach Center at NTC Great Lakes include, but are not limited to: (1) relocation educational/informational workshops encompassing such topics as navy lifestyles, returning from overseas, deployment, preparing for a smooth household move,etc.; (2) relocation educational counseling by appointment or walk-in requests; (3) the development of relocation/base resource bulletin board and information files within the Relocation Outreach Center s satellite office; and (4) the submission of a monthly Service School Command relocation article/publicity paragraph for publication in the Family Service Center Newsletter. The contractor will be responsible for the coordination and management of the services provided through the Relocation Outreach Center in accordance with DoD Instruction 1338.19, SECNAVINST 1754.1A, SECNAVINST 1754.6, OPNAVINST 1740 and current Family Service Center Relocation instructions. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated, with a base period of performance commencing 01 October 1997 through 30 September 1998, with two (2), one (1) year options. The solicitation may require the submission of cost/price and technical proposals. This solicitation shall be set aside 100% for small businesses. The applicable Standard Industrial Code for this acquisition is 8322.
