Z -- ASBESTOS/LEAD PAINT ABATEMENT SOL 1443IB8140-97-030 DUE 071697 POC Linda Wong (415) 556-2488 or (415) 561-4502 The National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, has identified a requirement for asbestos/lead paint abatement services. Work shall be performed on Government-owned space in various buildings within the geographic boundaries of the Golden Gate NRA which are in the counties of San Francisco, Marin and San Mateo, CA. It is anticipated that a Indefinite Quantity type contract shall be awarded for a base year and two (2) one year options, exercisable at the sole discretion of Golden Gate NRA. Minimum guarantee of the indefinite quantity contract is $40,000.00. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, services, training, insurance and equipment as needed to complete abatement of asbestos-containing and contaminated materials and lead based paint as described in each individual task order. Work shall be in compliance with technical specifications and all federal, state and local ordinances, regulations and rules pertaining to each project, including removal, storage, transportation anddisposal of asbestos. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1542. Solicitation will be available o/a June 16, 1997. There is a non-refundable fee of $15.00 for the solicitation.
