The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, Florida, intends to acquire a water jet cutting system. This system shall have a cutting table of sufficient size to support an 8 foot by 4 foot plate of metal. The system shall use abrasive material and be able to cut aluminum, mild steel, high carbon steel, stone, stainless steel, glass, foam rubber, composites, and plastics up to 3 inches thick. The system must fit into a space of 25 feet by 25 feet. On-site training and manuals are also required. The anticipated contract will be firm fixed price, FOB destination (Panama City, FL). The policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, will be used in this procurement.
