70 -- SOFTWARE UPGRADE SOL DCA200-97-M-0189 DUE 060997 POC Art Kruse 618-256-9735 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source modification to contract DCA200-97-M-0189 to Tangram Enterprise Solutions, Inc., 11000 Regency Parkway, Suite 401, Cary NC 27511-8504 for the acquisition of software upgrade for the following proprietary products: Base Arbiter; Remote Disk Environment' External File Interface; Interactive Session Relay; Tangram Arbiter Script Language and Asynch Driver. These products are installed on an Amdahl 5995-8650M located at the DMC Chambersburg, PA. Requested delivery for the upgrade is the effective date of the modification. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software upgrades must indicate their interest within 15 days of this announcement. Any party interested in this requirement shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9414 are acceptable. No contract modification will be awarded on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. The resultant contract modification will be firm, fixed price. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract.
