In summary, this basic, exploratory, and advanced development research and research support effort, planned by the Crew Technology Division of the Crew Systems Directorate, Armstrong Laboratory (AL), Brooks Air Force Base, Texas, includes advances in acceleration and altitude protection, spatial disorientation prevention/countermeasures, workload and performance assessments and circadian disruption countermeasures.
