Michael Dodd, Code SEA02522, (703)602-7900 ext 568 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to extend the ordering period under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-95-G-5629 with DRS Technologies, 200 Professional Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20879, and BOA N00024-95-G-5624 with CARDION Inc., 100 Sunnyside Blvd, Woodbury, NY 11797, to provide continuous support to the AN/SPS-55 Radars. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) "Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". During the extended period, NAVSEA will issue orders for the evaluation and implementation of equipment changes which includes such effort as conducting special studies, surveys, evaluations and tests to determine the feasibility and/or applicability of proposed equipment changes, applicable training or Instructor Advisory Services, Design Agent Support, documentation of changes, (new and revised drawings, publications, data, etc.), the development and furnishings of field change kits, and anynecessary packaging, packing, and marking of end items.
