Each contract for general environmental services, with a $5000 guaranteed amount, will be administered through individual work orders that will not exceed $100,000. Multiple contracts may be awarded based on this advertisement. Each contract will not exceed $2,500,000 and will be for 2 years with renewal options for 3 one-year periods. The work will be performed in Tennessee predominately, but may occur in other southeastern states. Services may include designing and supervising asbestos, UST, and lead paint remediation; waste conservation and recycling projects; real estate investigations; environmental assessments/impact statements; natural and historic resources assessments; and energy conservation studies. Firms must have experience with projects involving compliance with federal and Tennessee environmental and safety laws and regulations. Firms must provide planners, architects, engineers, scientists, industrial hygienist, and technicians to accomplish the work issued. Appropriately certified or registered professionals must be available. Submission must include: (a) location and array of environmental and safety professionals within Tennessee and adjoining states, (b) qualifications of key personnel, (c) management approach, (d)environmental projects completed and in progress, (e)laboratory ise methodology, and quality control methodology. No other advertisement for these contracts will be made. Qualified firms are invited to submit to the address above by June 30, 1997, three (3) copies of their SF 254 and 255 which must include the SF 254 for each subcontractor. Firms must provide proof of ability to secure errors and omissions insurance for at least $100,000 / claim. Payment of a commission, percentage, or brokerage fee to a person or firm contingent upon, or resulting from, award of this contract is prohibited. Submissions will not be retained nor returned.
